"Leadership is a year-long elective that requires both an application and a tryout for consideration. Due to the high number of applicants, this class is limited and impacted, and both the application and tryout are required for selection. This event-based class plans and runs school activities such as rallies, dances, spirit weeks, and other fun campus events, while also participating in community service projects.

 

Students interested in applying must submit an application by March 27, 2026 (for currently enrolled students) or by April 13, 2026 (for 5th grade students applying for next school year). All applicants must also attend one tryout session in the CJHS Library on April 14 or April 15. Please reach out to rbesser@chicousd.org for more information."
